Christmas time and new years eve

How is it that you spend so long looking forward to christmas, then it's over just like that and another year of waiting begins. Or could that just be me, being my overly excitable self for christmas! It's my favourite time of year, and now my families grown bigger with my niece and nephews, it's fun watching them grow up and get crazy excited over their presents and santa.
I had a lot of fun this christmas, i celebrated by being in a pub with 10-15 or so friends on christmas eve. lots of music, and lots of drink.
Christmas morning i spent with my mum and dad, and then we went down the pub to meet everyone for a drink. now our families extended there's a fair few of us. 13 maybe? i'm not sure, even so it's a lot of people. Lunch at home was amazing as usual. there's always something a bit christmas lunch! anyway a few glasses of wine later and a couple of my friends came to join our families 'traditional' festivities. which involves copious amounts of alcohol, picking a cereal box up from the floor with your teeth, and seeing how much chocolate you can stick to your face. It's a lot more fun and hard work than it sounds ;)

I had such a good day, and got some beautiful presents, and a pretty large hangover the following day, which was hard to believe seeing as i didn't drink much. 

But before i start counting the days down until next christmas, we have to finish this year first, and to do that we're celebrating with a new years eve house party. Can't wait to be with the people i love the most, and can't wait to see in the 1st of january 2012.

but anyway i'm now off to sleep wearing my lovely new dressing gown that is probably the softest thing in the world! next time i write will probably next year. talk then ;) happy new year <3
