So as you may or may not know, my best friend turned 19 today :D So we decided to make a weekend of lots of celebratory drinks.
So last night was part 2 of birthday plans. Town times! So mel & i got ready together swigging down our wine, whilst outside it is pouring rain and freezing cold. But never mind, didn't stop us :D So we got to the bus stop and met up with Ant, Pete and Rob and made our way into town.
First place was to get some yummy cocktails in the moon and the square, my first step through the door and i slid over due to 'the slippery surface' and then have both Mel and the bouncer laugh at me. Great.
After a few drinks we headed to walkabout with a few more friends, for some free birthday shots, and lots of dancing.
I'm not gonna lie a lot of what happened after that is a blur, a blur of shots, falling over, drunken kisses, and men being even more inappropriate than usual, and of course a bit of subway to end the evening (sorry Dan you had lettuce all in your car) :P
But yeah awesome night! Weird to think this time last year we would have all been getting excited to go out tonight, a huge group of us for Mel's first night in town!
Anyway woken up this morning with a stinking cold from the weather last night, a headache, and lack of ability to move my body much! but hell to that, so worth it!
